Social Justice

Fellowship Southwest advocates for social justice issues affecting our communities and our region, especially as they apply to racial and economic justice. This includes death penalty abolition, public education, fair lending, voting rights, and hunger and poverty. We also staunchly defend the separation of church and state and oppose Christian Nationalism. We have several partners who lead us in these social justice efforts: Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, Equal Justice USA Evangelical Network, Pastors for Children, Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty, Center for Responsible Lending, BJC and Christians Against Christian Nationalism. We are grateful to follow their leadership and participate with them when the opportunities arise.
